Death of a U.S. Citizen

In the unfortunate event of the death of a U.S. citizen in a foreign country, there are certain services the Embassy can provide to the next-of-kin of the deceased.

Please be aware that the Embassy can not commit Government funds to cover the funeral expenses of private citizens.
