Prosecutor’s Office consisting of 5 vehicles and office equipment to combat crimes against intellectual property rights. The event took place at the offices of the Public Prosecutor.
At the end of the ceremony presided by General Prosecutor Dr. Ruben Candia Amarilla and attended by prosecutors and prosecuting agents of trademarks, Ambassador Cason handed Dr. Candia Amarilla the keys of the vehicles.
The funds of this donation have an estimated value of 130,000 U.S. dollars and come from the Department of State. They are part of a cooperation program of the United States Government to combat the trafficking of drugs, money laundering and piracy of intellectual rights in Paraguay.
